Where we see it is the Rheem Valley and Saint Mary's College side, and in the remodels and ADUs where a homeowner wanted a 36-inch pro-style range and hood look without the European price. That is exactly what Z-Line sells, and those installs are now hitting their first real service window.
The work follows the product. Z-Line's Autograph Edition and Pro Series ranges run a hot infrared broiler, and the broiler ignition is a common no-light call. The professional range hoods get grease into the capacitive touch pad seam and the speed buttons go intermittent. On the dual-fuel ranges we get calls about the convection cool-down fan running on after the oven cycles off. None of it is exotic. It is the cost-engineering showing up on schedule, and as a Z-Line Manufacturer-Authorized servicer we carry the parts for it.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Broiler won't light. On Pro Series and Autograph 36 and 48 inch ranges. Broiler won't light, oven still bakes. We diagnose the ignition path, replace the failed part, and bench-test the gas valve micro-switch.
- Range hood touch-board failure. Speed buttons go intermittent from grease ingress at the touch-pad seam. Clean and re-seal, replace the board if the sensors test dead. Blower motor usually fine.
- Dual-fuel convection fan running on. Cool-down fan keeps running after the oven cycles off. We test the thermal sensor and control side to find what is holding it on, and replace the failed part. If it is under Z-Line warranty we file the claim.
- Refrigerator ice-maker and door seal. Standard residential platform, so most issues are the ice-maker assembly or seal alignment. Panel-ready seals ordered to the panel-ready part number.

We are based in San Ramon, so Moraga is about a 30 minute run through Lafayette or over the hill. We pair it with the Orinda and Lafayette window and give you a written arrival time before we leave the shop. -
Is Z-Line common in Moraga, and do you still service it?
The country-club kitchens run Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador, so Z-Line mostly turns up in remodels, ADUs, and the Rheem Valley side. We are a Z-Line Authorized servicer and carry the broiler, hood-board, and fan parts regardless of where the unit sits. -
