Z-Line is not the brand we see most in Los Altos. The 94022 and 94024 flatland kitchens, downtown and North Los Altos, lean Sub-Zero and Wolf in the 2015-and-after rebuilds. Where Z-Line turns up is the secondary kitchens, the ADUs, and the cost-conscious remodels. A main kitchen on a Wolf dual-fuel range will have a Z-Line Pro range in the guest unit or the pool house. We service it either way.
The Z-Line Pro and Autograph Edition ranges run a hot infrared broiler. The broiler ignitor and the upper thermocouple wear out together. The broiler won't light, the oven still bakes, and the older non-digital units throw no code. On the dual-fuel ranges we also get calls about the convection fan running on after the oven shuts off. That is the cool-down fan thermistor sitting wrong in the airflow path. The fix is a relocation bracket, and Z-Line covers it under the parts warranty when we file it right. We carry the ignitor and thermocouple kit on the truck.

- Broiler ignitor and upper thermocouple. Pro and Autograph ranges, broiler dead while bake works. Replaced as a pair, gas valve micro-switch bench-tested before close-up.
- Dual-fuel cool-down fan thermistor. Convection fan won't stop after cycle. Relocation bracket, not a straight swap, covered under parts warranty when filed correctly.
- Range hood touch-board failure. Speed buttons intermittent from grease ingress at the capacitive pad seam. Clean, re-seal, replace the board only if the sensors test dead.
- Refrigerator ice-maker and door seal. Ice-maker assembly and panel-ready seal alignment. Panel-ready seals ordered to the correct part number, not the standard one.
