- Guest-house furnace will not light after long idle. A wall furnace that sits unused most of the year clogs its pilot orifice and collects debris in the tubing. I clean the pilot path, replace the thermocouple, and confirm a stable flame.
- Gas valve stuck closed. Aged Williams valves on older estate units stick and the burner never opens. We test the valve and the safety circuit and replace it with the correct Williams part.
- Flame dropout in a humid pool house. Damp pool-house air corrodes the flame-sensing path and the burner drops. We clean or replace the pilot and sensor assembly so the flame signal holds in the humidity.
