The 94022 and 94024 rebuilds spec Sub-Zero columns, Wolf or Thermador dual-fuel ranges, and U-Line wine reserves, and the older Country Club and Loyola Corners homes run Sub-Zero 700 series. Where Whirlpool shows up in Los Altos is the rest of the house. The laundry room runs a Cabrio top-loader and a WED dryer. The ADU, the pool house, or the garage second kitchen runs a Whirlpool freestanding range and a WRF fridge. That's the platform we get called for here.

The Cabrio fails the way it always does. A bearing in the gearbox starts grinding on the spin, or the lid switch packs up and the tub won't agitate. Same core as the Maytag Bravos underneath. The WED dryers fail at the element and blow the thermal fuse when a long duct run hasn't been cleared, which happens a lot in these larger lots with the laundry buried mid-house. On the secondary-kitchen fridges, it's the evap fan motor first, the same loud-freezer, warm-box symptom we see on every WRF.
