- Zone damper and bypass faults on large multi-zone homes. With several zones across a big hillside home, a stuck damper or a failed bypass throws off airflow and pressure to the other zones. I find the actuator or bypass that is off and correct it so the rest of the house balances rather than over-pressurizing one wing.
