Out-of-balance shutdowns on the TR7. When the TR7 keeps stopping mid-spin with an unbalanced load error even on normal loads, the suspension has usually gone soft. On second-floor installs the symptom often shows up first as thumping the owners can hear downstairs. Replacing the suspension components restores the spin and quiets the floor, and it is a far better outcome than living with half-spun laundry.
Drain hose and pump housing seepage. A teaspoon of water per cycle at the pump housing or hose clamp will eventually stain a Blackhawk ceiling. Owners usually find it as a faint warp in the laundry room flooring. I reseal or replace the hose, check the pump housing for hairline cracks, and run a full drain cycle while watching the connections dry.
TR7 electronic control faults after power events.
