Nugget ice machine low output. Scotsman's nugget machines are popular for their soft, chewable ice, and low output usually traces to a scaled auger housing or a water inlet valve not opening fully. Local water is hard enough that scale shows up first.
Machine won't start a freeze cycle. If the machine won't start freezing at all, we check the bin thermostat and control board before assuming a compressor issue. A full bin or a bad thermostat reading looks identical to a dead compressor from the outside.
Water leak at the base of the machine. A leak at the base is usually a cracked water trough, a loose fitting, or a failed pump seal, not a sign the whole machine needs replacing. We trace it to the actual source before quoting anything.
