- G Series Dishwasher Drain Pump, Inlet Valve, and Control Faults. A dishwasher that's been quietly running for over a decade in one of these homes usually fails at the drain pump or the inlet valve when it finally does fail, and the control board's fault code tells me which before I open the unit.
