- Clogged Defrost Drain on KF Bottom-Freezer Columns. The KF column's defrost drain clogging is the call we get most in Concord, same pattern as everywhere: ice chips or crumbs block the drain tube, water backs up and freezes into a sheet under the crisper drawers, then thaws and leaks out somewhere that doesn't look connected to the fridge at all, like under an adjacent cabinet or through the floor into a garage below. I trace the drain, clear it, and check the defrost heater and timer before closing the column back up.
- G Series Dishwasher Drain Pump, Inlet Valve, and Control Faults. G Series dishwashers in Concord kitchens fail in three predictable ways: the drain pump seizes or clogs and leaves standing water at the end of the cycle, the inlet or aquastop valve fails and either won't fill or trips the flood pan, or the control board throws a fault code. I pull the code off the display first and order the actual part rather than swapping components to guess.
- MasterCool Column Airflow Restriction and Compressor Overload. In some of the newer builds near the old Naval Weapons Station land, the MasterCool column gets boxed into custom cabinetry that skips the vent clearance Miele specs, and the condenser can't shed heat. The compressor runs long, overheats, and trips the overload protector or starts cycling more than normal. I check the venting first, because a new compressor in the same boxed-in space just fails again.
