Santa Clara skews Samsung and LG heavy with Bosch dishwashers and KitchenAid built-in in the remodels, so Maytag is not the dominant brand here the way it is in the East Bay tracts. Where we do see it is the older central neighborhoods, the kitchens that kept the same Maytag washer, dryer, or top-freezer fridge through a couple of decades. The Rivermark townhomes up by 101 are newer and lean to the imports, so most of our Santa Clara Maytag calls come from the established streets, not the new builds.

When Maytag does come up in 95050, 95051, and 95054, it is the predictable failures. Bravos washers throw a lid switch or, later, a gearbox bearing. Centennial dryers drag on a worn glide bearing and belt. The top-freezer fridges lose a defrost thermostat or evap-fan motor.
