Top-freezer MRT and MFI fridges fail at the defrost thermostat and the evap fan motor, both cheap and both quick. Maytag ranges split clean: the MGR gas units drop the surface igniter, the MER electric units lose the bake element, and a cold-running oven usually means the sensor, not the board. Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

MGR gas range surface igniter. Burner clicks but won't light, or lights slow. Surface igniter is the usual culprit and a first-visit fix.
MER electric bake element and oven sensor. Oven won't heat or runs cold. We swap the bake element, and when it runs cold we read the sensor resistance before condemning anything else.
Bravos lid switch and dishwasher inlet valve. Bravos washers won't start when the lid switch goes. Dishwashers fail at the inlet valve and door latch. Stocked parts, one visit.
