Manitowoc in San Mateo
Manitowoc commercial service.
San Mateo's Manitowoc work centers on the downtown restaurant row along B Street and 3rd Ave, plus the bars and sit-down spots near Hillsdale Mall and the old Bay Meadows development. Indigo NXT modulars are the common install at the busier downtown dinner houses running through weekend brunch service. NEO undercounters cover the smaller bar programs.
We now have a technician based on the Peninsula in San Mateo County, so San Mateo is home ground for us in a way it wasn't before. That matters on a downtown restaurant row where a dead ice machine on a Friday night is a real problem, not something that can wait on a technician fighting commute traffic up from San Ramon.

Common repairs we handle.
- Indigo NXT harvest-cycle hang during weekend rush. Downtown restaurants running heavy Friday and Saturday service push these machines hard. The harvest valve or curtain switch is the usual failure point when the bin light won't clear.
- Condenser-clean reminder code ignored until shutdown. Busy kitchens skip the reminder code until the machine shuts itself down on high pressure. A coil brush-clean and air-filter swap gets it back online, and I reset the maintenance schedule in the panel so it doesn't repeat.
- Water filter scaling on downtown's hard water. The cartridge scales out around six months here, not the twelve Manitowoc prints on the packaging.

FAQ
Manitowoc in San Mateo questions, answered.
-
How fast can you reach a downtown San Mateo restaurant for a Manitowoc call?
We have a technician based on the Peninsula in San Mateo County, so San Mateo is local territory for us now, not a trip from San Ramon. Call and we'll give you a real answer on timing. -
Do you service the bars near Hillsdale Mall too, or just downtown?
Yes. We cover the whole city, from B Street downtown out to Hillsdale and the Bay Meadows side. Same Indigo NXT and NEO units either way. -
What happens during the $99 diagnostic visit?
We come out, test the machine, and give you a written quote for the repair. If you book that repair with us, the $99 is credited toward the repair.
