Heavy panel door dropping out of line on a hill-house column. A heavy custom panel wears on the hinges over the years. Once the door drops even slightly, it stops sealing at the top corner and the compressor starts running long. We realign the hinge, set the closer and check the gasket, which often recovers once the door sits square again.
Control board fault on a column past its tenth year. Once the drawers, seals and sensors test good, the control board becomes a real suspect on a column this age. We test its inputs and outputs before ordering, since Liebherr boards can take time to arrive and should only be ordered once.
