BioFresh drawer binding on its rails in a newer column. BioFresh drawers are heavy when full, and a rail that binds or a drawer that has jumped its track will not seat against the seal. The display then reports the zone as warm or shows a fault. We reseat or replace the rail, check the seal and the position switch, and clear the fault once the drawer closes properly.
Evaporator fan motor failing on an early-2000s column. After 20-plus years, the fan motor inside a column can slow, squeal or stop. Cold air no longer moves from the coil to the shelves, and the fresh-food side warms while the freezer seems fine. We test the motor, replace it with the correct part for the model, and check the defrost system while the panel is off.
Display dim or flickering on an older column. A display that dims, flickers or shows random segments points to the display board, its connector or the power supply feeding it. We check the voltage at the board and reseat the connectors before ordering anything, because a Liebherr display part can take time to arrive.
