Common repairs we handle.

Side-by-side leaking water under the crisper drawers. Meltwater from each defrost runs down a drain at the back of the freezer. When that drain freezes or clogs, the water overflows into the fresh-food side and onto the floor. We clear the drain, check the drain heater, and find out why it froze.
Dispenser pouring slow on a side-by-side. EBMUD water is soft to moderate, so scale is less often the cause here. A dispenser that pours slow usually has a clogged filter, a frozen line in the freezer door, or a weak inlet valve solenoid. We test them in that order and fix the one at fault.
Compressor clicking without starting. A click, a pause and another click from the back means the compressor is trying to start and failing. We test the start relay and overload, then measure the compressor windings. A relay is a small repair; a failed compressor on an older Kenmore usually is not worth doing, and we say so.
