Kelvinator in Alameda
Kelvinator commercial service.
Park Street and Webster Street carry a real mix of older, budget-minded restaurant and market kitchens, and a fair number of them run Kelvinator reach-ins, chest freezers, and merchandisers alongside newer gear. When one goes down during a weekend rush, the whole line backs up.
We service Kelvinator as an independent shop, no factory-authorization claims. The parts we replace most are evaporator fan motors, condenser fans, and door heaters, and we route Alameda tight from our San Ramon base.

Common repairs we handle.
- Iced evaporators. A Kelvinator reach-in or freezer icing over on Park Street is almost always a stuck defrost timer or a failed defrost heater. We replace the failed part and confirm the defrost cycle clears the coil fully.
- Seized condenser fan motors. A Webster Street market's Kelvinator merchandiser running warm often has a seized condenser fan motor choking off airflow. We swap the motor and clean the coil while it's open.
- Door heater and gasket failures. Glass-door Kelvinator merchandisers sweat and frost around the frame when the anti-sweat door heater fails. We test and replace the heater and check the gasket seal at the same time.
