Kelvinator in Oakland
Kelvinator commercial service.
Oakland keeps more kitchens running than anywhere else in the East Bay, and the equipment shows it. Temescal, Uptown, and Rockridge are packed with restaurants pushing their coolers all night. Jack London Square has the bars and breweries. Downtown runs hotels and office cafeterias. Out in the flats and Fruitvale, the taquerias, produce markets, and corner stores all live or die on a box holding temperature, and a lot of those boxes are Kelvinator reach-ins, freezers, and glass-door merchandisers.
We dispatch from San Ramon and cover all of it, seven days a week. We service Kelvinator as an independent shop, with no authorization claims.

Common repairs we handle.
- Reach-ins and prep tables. Kelvinator reach-ins and prep units that won't hold safe temp around Temescal and the flats usually have a compressor short-cycling, a condenser choked with grease and dust, a failed start component, or a bad fan motor.
- Merchandisers and corner-store cases. The Kelvinator glass-door merchandisers and grab-and-go cases in Fruitvale and the flats fail on door heaters, defrost faults, and clogged drains. We rebuild the water side and controls rather than push a new case.
- Sealed-system work in-house. We do sealed-system work in-house with recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in under EPA #1279674151528. We're also R290 hydrocarbon trained, which matters on the newer self-contained Kelvinator units.

FAQ
Kelvinator in Oakland questions, answered.
-
Do you handle outages in Oakland fast?
Yes. A down box goes to the front of the line. We're open 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days, and after-hours emergencies reach us at the same number. -
Is Oakland water hard on Kelvinator ice and water gear?
Oakland's water is moderately hard, so on water-fed gear that means scale on the evaporator and slow performance. We descale, swap water filters, and tell you straight whether it's a deep clean or a part. -
Do you work on residential Sub-Zero too while you're out?
In the Rockridge and Hills homes we handle Sub-Zero and U-Line built-ins, but for Kelvinator we focus on the commercial gear in the restaurants, bars, and markets. Diagnostic is $99, credited toward the repair.
