Door gaskets leaking on apartment-size top freezers. The Haier top freezer models common in Monument corridor apartments develop gasket leaks at the hinge corner. Frost builds on the back wall and the unit runs warm up front. Gasket replacement plus a door alignment fixes it, and I clean the condenser while the unit is pulled out because dust is half the load on these.
Thermostat and control board swings. Erratic temperatures, milk freezing one week and going soft the next, point at the thermostat on mechanical Haier models or the control board on electronic ones. I verify with probe readings instead of guessing, then quote the exact part in writing.
