Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Compressor start relay clicking on top-freezer models. The classic Haier complaint is a click every few minutes and a fridge that slowly warms. That is the start relay and run capacitor on the compressor. In Alameda's older buildings with tired wiring the relay takes extra abuse from voltage sag. I test the compressor windings first, then replace the relay and capacitor as a pair so you do not pay for two visits.
Door gaskets losing their seal in salt air. Haier gaskets are softer than GE or Whirlpool gaskets and they lose grip earlier, especially the freezer door. Island humidity makes it worse. You see sweating around the door frame and frost inside. We carry gasket profiles for the common Haier compact and top-freezer models and I check door hinge alignment while I am in there.
Thermostat control board reading wrong temperatures. On electronic Haier models the control board drifts, so the fridge runs warm while the display says it is fine. I verify with a calibrated probe before condemning the board, because sometimes it is only the sensor. Board replacement comes with a written quote first, and if the board costs more than the unit is worth on a compact, I will tell you straight.
