- Icemaker auger motor failure. Heavy daily ice use wears out the auger motor inside the icemaker bin faster than the rest of the unit ages. Ice stops dispensing or grinds without moving, and the motor is a direct swap once we confirm the bin itself isn't cracked.
- Control board error codes on newer Gallery units. Terrabay-area Gallery French-doors sometimes throw a display error or stop responding to temperature settings. Usually the main control board, but I test the compressor and fans separately first, so I'm not replacing a board that wasn't the problem.
- Door seal gap from high-cycle daily use. In busy households opening the fridge dozens of times a day, the gasket flattens at the handle side first. That gap lets warm air in, the compressor runs longer than it should, and the fix is a gasket replacement, not a new fridge.
