It will not wash until it is fixed, because the lid has to lock before a cycle can start. The lid actuator has failed or is on its way out. We replace it with a new seal at the same time so the tub does not leak afterward.

Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Common repairs we handle.

OB burner clicks, lights, then drops out. If a burner lights and goes out as soon as you let go of the knob, the thermocouple is usually weak. The flame-failure system closes the gas because it cannot sense heat. We swap the thermocouple, re-seal the burner cap and watch each burner through a full light-off.
Induction cooktop dead or tripping the breaker. We start at the circuit: voltage at the terminal block, the breaker and the connections. Kitchen wiring in an older house may have been reworked more than once. If the supply is sound, we move on to the cooktop's power board and induction coils and quote from what we find.
ActiveSmart fresh-food side warm, freezer cold. A warm fresh-food section with a cold freezer points at the evaporator fan or the defrost system. The fresh-food fan motor on ActiveSmart models is sealed, so a failed one is replaced whole. If the fault is in the sealed system, our technician is EPA 608 Type I certified and quotes that work on its own.
