Dipping cabinet service

C. Nelson makes cabinets for serving and storing frozen desserts. A dipping cabinet needs a usable serving temperature as well as cold storage. If the product has become too hard, too soft or uneven across the cabinet, record the setting and the symptoms before changing the controller.

Condenser access and ice buildup

The condenser needs a clear path for air. Dust between its tubes is a visible maintenance concern; it does not, by itself, prove the compressor has failed. We check the condenser and fan alongside the temperature complaint.

Ice around the serving opening deserves a separate look. Tell us where it first appeared and how quickly it returns after defrosting. Photograph it before clearing it away, and keep sharp tools away from the cabinet liner.

Before the visit

Send a photo of the C. Nelson model plate and the full cabinet. Mention whether the problem affects every tub or only one section, and whether it began after cleaning, moving the cabinet or changing a setting. Leave access to the service grille.

The diagnostic is $99 per visit, including additional units diagnosed during that visit, and is credited toward the repair. Repair work starts after you approve the written price.
