Bryant in Danville

Bryant heating and cooling in Danville.

Danville is inland and warm, on the hot side of the valley with summer afternoons that load the cooling hard. The housing runs from older homes near Old Town to large newer builds out toward Blackhawk and Tassajara. Many of the bigger homes run zoned Bryant Evolution systems, and the older ones run single Bryant Preferred splits getting on in years.

Because we are based in neighboring San Ramon, Danville is home turf for us. I know the housing stock and the way the heat behaves out here. The zoned Evolution homes need their dampers and bypass set right or one zone never satisfies, and the older single systems show the usual capacitor, compressor and heat exchanger wear after a couple of decades of inland summers.

Andrew Kuznetsov owns ADRIUM right next door in San Ramon, HVAC through our Bay Area HVAC Service division. CSLB #1136642, EPA Section 608 Universal, A2L certified for R-454B.

Common repairs we do

What we close on the truck.

  • One zone never satisfying on Evolution systems. Larger Danville homes run zoned Bryant Evolution. When one zone never satisfies, it is usually a failed damper actuator or a wrong bypass setting starving that zone. We test each damper and reset the bypass so the airflow balances.
  • Weak compressor on aging single-system homes. Older Danville homes run one Bryant Preferred condenser, and after twenty inland summers the compressor weakens and trips in the heat. We test amp draw and starting against the data plate and give you the honest repair-versus-replace numbers.
  • Hot surface igniter failure on Preferred furnaces. Bryant Preferred furnaces here lose the hot surface igniter, and the furnace clicks but never lights. We test the igniter resistance and the gas valve and replace the matched igniter so it fires reliably again.

FAQ

Bryant in Danville questions, answered.

  • How fast can you get to Danville from San Ramon?
Very fast. Danville is right next to our San Ramon base, about 10 minutes up 680 or San Ramon Valley Boulevard. We also cover Blackhawk, San Ramon and Alamo all around you, so same-day here is normal.
  • My larger Danville home is zoned. Can you service the Bryant zoning?
Yes. We test the zone dampers, the bypass and the Evolution control together. When one zone never satisfies it is almost always a failed damper actuator or a bypass set wrong, and we check each one.
  • Should I repair or replace my twenty-year-old Bryant system?
If it is a capacitor, igniter or contactor, repair makes sense. A weak compressor or a cracked heat exchanger on a twenty-year unit usually points to replacement. We give written numbers both ways so you decide.
