Recirc pump whine into a grinding drain pump. It starts as a high whine partway through the wash, then a grind at drain-down a few months later. Both pumps sit on the same platform from the 300 through the Benchmark line, so once I hear it I know which part is coming off the van.
Hidden bake element failure in wall ovens. Bosch wall ovens bury the bake element under the oven floor instead of showing it, so when it burns out the oven just runs cold on bake with no visible sign of damage. Pulling the floor panel and swapping the element is a single visit if I have the model number ahead of the call.
French-door fridge icing near the back wall. The drain line off the evaporator freezes shut, water backs up, and the evaporator fan ices into the rear panel while fresh food drifts warm and the freezer stays fine. I thaw the line, replace the drain heater and fan motor, and check why the drain plugged in the first place.
