- Niles-area wall furnace not lighting. In the older Niles homes the Williams units often fail on a worn thermocouple. The pilot lights but the burner never opens. I test millivolt output and replace the thermocouple.
- Rental-unit pilot will not hold. Neglected rental furnaces collect dust in the pilot path and the pilot drops out. We clean the pilot assembly and orifice and replace the thermocouple so tenants get steady heat.
- Gas valve no longer opening. Aged Williams gas valves stick closed in these older homes. We confirm the pilot proves, test the valve, and replace it with the correct Williams part rather than a generic.
