If lettuce comes out stiff, the zone is dropping below its setting, usually because its sensor reads wrong or a damper is stuck open. We measure the zone, test the sensor against that reading and check the damper before the control board comes into it.
- Freezer drawer that no longer closes flush. Integrated freezers use pull-out drawers on runners. A runner that has bent, or a drawer front knocked off its brackets, leaves a gap along one side, and frost builds there. We realign or replace the runner and check the gasket across the whole drawer face so the seal is even again.
- Rising whir from the base grille. A new whir or tick at the toe grille usually comes from the condenser fan motor wearing out or catching debris. As the fan slows, the condenser runs hot and the cabinet warms. We clean the area, replace the fan if its bearings are gone and confirm the compressor cycles normally afterward.

Why is there water under the crisper in our Emerald Hills Liebherr?
Almost always a blocked defrost drain, not a refrigerant leak. Water from each defrost should leave through a drain behind the rear panel, and when debris plugs it, the water freezes or spills into the drawer area. We clear the drain, check the heater near it and watch a defrost cycle. -
Can refrigerant work be done in the condo, or does the unit have to leave?
Sealed-system repairs happen on site, with the column pulled forward from its opening. If the repair means a compressor or a leak search behind the cabinet, the quote explains the space and time it needs before you decide.
