Compressor clicks but will not start. A click now and then with no hum usually means the start relay or the run capacitor has failed. We test both and check the compressor windings before replacing anything, so you know the compressor itself is healthy.
Top-freezer frosting over, fridge side warm. When the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat fails, ice builds on the evaporator and blocks the air that cools the fridge section. We melt the ice, test each defrost part and replace the one that failed.
