Outdoor fan motor seizing. Moist air and grass debris work into the outdoor fan motor's bearings, and the fan slows or stops. The compressor then overheats and shuts down. We replace the motor, and because Cooper&Hunter fan motor stock can run thin, we may fit a matched equivalent with the same mounting and speed.
Head flashing an error code. Cooper&Hunter heads show a code on the display when something fails. We read it, check it against the service manual, and test the part it points to, whether a sensor, a fan motor or a board. Most codes lead to a repair, not a replacement.
