- Infrared broiler burner on 48 inch ranges. The big GR ranges in Mission San Jose kitchens use an infrared broiler that develops cracked ceramic or uneven flame across the screen. You see orange hot spots instead of an even red glow. The burner assembly is replaceable, and catching it early prevents damage to the surrounding liner.
- M Series ignitor failure. Our single most frequent Wolf repair. The oven clicks through its cycle but bake never lights because the ignitor cannot pull enough current to open the valve. One part, stocked on the van, and the oven bakes again the same visit.
- Griddle plates that will not hold temperature. Fremont's larger ranges often include the factory griddle, and its thermostat drifts with heavy use. Pancakes burn on one end and stay pale on the other. Thermostat replacement and a surface temperature verification with an infrared thermometer close the job properly.
