- Fan noise on a head in a quiet room. We come down I-680 south and over on CA-92 or I-280, usually 50 to 60 minutes. Portola Valley is booked on our Peninsula day with Hillsborough, and we send a written arrival time ahead of the visit. -
One zone in my workshop stopped. Is the whole system failing?
No. If the main house zones still run fine, the outdoor unit and refrigerant side are healthy. A dead zone on its own is that head's board or sensor, and we replace it at the head. -
Will a Mitsubishi heat pump help us through a PG&E shutoff?
It won't run without power, so it isn't backup power by itself. What it does is draw less power than a lot of heating systems, so if you're pairing it with a generator or battery bank for an outage, it asks less of that backup than a furnace would. The $75 diagnostic is waived when you move ahead with any repair.
