That is why ductless is everywhere here. What we close on the truck.

Floor-furnace replacement head short-cycling. In flatland bungalows where a single M-Series replaced an old floor furnace, oversizing the head for the small room causes short-cycling and poor dehumidification. I check the actual room load against the head capacity and correct the charge and settings so it runs longer, gentler cycles.
Hill multi-zone dead head, board or sensor. On Montclair and Oakland hills multi-zone systems, one head going dark while the rest run is nearly always that head's indoor board or thermostat sensor. I read the code at the head and meter the sensor rather than chasing the condenser up the hill.
Lineset corrosion on coastal-facing walls. Oakland units facing the bay air get flare and lineset corrosion that turns into a slow leak and a balance fault. I find the corroded joint, remake the flare, pull a vacuum, and recharge to Mitsubishi spec.
