Kelvinator in Santa Clara
Kelvinator commercial service.
Kelvinator reach-ins show up in some of the family-run restaurants in the strip malls along El Camino Real and in a few of the smaller kitchens near the university, older equipment that's outlasted a lot of what's opened around it.
We handle Kelvinator independently, no factory relationship on this one, and parts for older units sometimes take a call or two to locate, which we'll say upfront.
$99 diagnostic, credited toward the repair.

Common repairs we handle.
- Aging compressor and starting relay issues. The Kelvinator boxes we find around Santa Clara are usually well past a decade of service, and the start relay or compressor is where they give out. We test both before telling you honestly what it's worth fixing.
- Evaporator fan motor replacement. A box that's lost its cold is often down to a weak or seized evaporator fan. We replace the motor and verify airflow before we're done.
- Door gasket and thermostat wear. A compressor that never shuts off usually means a worn gasket or a thermostat out of calibration. We replace the gasket and dial in the control so the unit isn't running nonstop.
