Kelvinator in Lafayette
Kelvinator commercial service.
Most of Lafayette's commercial kitchens sit downtown along Mt. Diablo Boulevard and around La Fiesta Square. Sit-down restaurants, a couple of bars, bakeries with display cases, and the markets and grocery spots off Pleasant Hill Road. It's not a high-volume corridor, but the operators here run tight rooms and notice the second a Kelvinator box drifts warm.
We service Kelvinator as an independent shop. Downtown Lafayette is a quick run off Highway 24 from our San Ramon dispatch.

Common repairs we handle.
- Prep gear and reach-ins running hot. Kelvinator prep units warm up because the condenser coil is packed with flour and grease and the compressor's running hot. Reach-in gaskets tear at the hinge so the door never really seals.
- Display cases and merchandisers. The bakery display cases and market merchandisers fail on door heaters, evaporator fan motors seizing and icing the coil, and clogged drains. We rebuild those rather than condemn the case.
- Sealed-system work. We do sealed-system repairs in-house with recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in. EPA #1279674151528 covers the refrigerant handling, and we're HC/R290 trained for the hydrocarbon Kelvinator units.

FAQ
Kelvinator in Lafayette questions, answered.
-
How fast can you get to downtown Lafayette?
Downtown Lafayette is a quick run off Highway 24. We dispatch from San Ramon, 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days, same number after hours, and commercial outages jump the line. -
Is Lafayette water hard on Kelvinator ice and display gear?
Lafayette runs moderately hard water off the local supply, so we see scale on evaporator plates, slow harvest, and sticking float valves. Most of that is a deep cleaning, a descale, and a new water filter, not a new machine. -
What does the diagnostic cost?
It's $99, credited toward the repair, and you get a written quote before we touch anything. We're part of ADRIUM Service Solutions, CSLB #1136642.
