Can a Gree mini-split heat a drafty Victorian on its own?
It can carry most of the load if each head is sized for its room and the house does not leak too much air. In an older house with single-pane windows, a head may run near full output on the coldest mornings. We check sizing and airflow, and tell you plainly if a room needs more capacity. -
Our Vallejo Gree unit drips water outside in winter. Is that a leak?
Usually not. In heat mode the outdoor unit makes water when it defrosts, and that water drains out the bottom of the cabinet. Water dripping from the indoor head is a different story and usually means a clogged drain line, which we clear and flush on the visit. -
Is a Gree board hard to find when one fails?
