Icemakers quit, evap-fan motors seize, drain pumps clog, and the Profile fridge loses its defrost heater the same way it does anywhere else. Up on Albany Hill, where the lots are bigger, GE tends to show up as full-size Profile refrigeration and laundry rather than the compact sizing down in the flats. Those units see the same failures, mostly control-board resets on laundry and sensor drift on ranges, just in a larger kitchen with more room to work.

- GE laundry won't start or stops mid-cycle. Common in UC Village and ADU laundry setups. Usually a tired control board. We diagnose, swap it, and run a full cycle to confirm.
- Profile dishwasher float shutoff. The recirculation pump seal weeps onto the float switch, which trips and shuts the unit down mid-cycle. We replace the pump and clear the fault code.
