Cove in Los Altos Hills
Cove in Los Altos Hills kitchens.
Los Altos Hills kitchens split two ways. The estates remodeled in the 90s and early 2000s carry built-in refrigeration and pro ranges, and a Cove in one of them arrived later than the rest of the kitchen. The newer tech-driven rebuilds run built-in, panel-ready kitchens, and a big one may put two dishwashers at one prep sink. When a rebuild has two Coves on one drain, a weak loop on one lets the other's pumped water run into it, and a clean machine fills with gray water.
Many lots also have a pool house, a guest unit or staff quarters with a kitchen of their own. Tell us which building the Cove is in and how to get through the gate, and our technician starts in the right place. We diagnose it for $99, credited toward the repair, and the written quote comes before any part is ordered. CSLB #1136642.

Common repairs we handle.
- Two Coves at one sink sharing a drain. When both machines empty into the same sink line, a hose without a proper high loop lets one machine's drain water run into the other. We check both hoses and their loops, look at the connections at the disposer or the tailpiece, and test each drain alone and together.
- Erratic controls after water reached the wiring. Water that runs down inside the door or pools in the base can reach wiring and the control, and the Cove starts acting oddly: buttons that ignore you, cycles that restart. We find and fix the leak first, dry the machine, then test whether the control needs replacing.
- Gasket nicked at the top of the tub. A knife point or a sharp pan corner can cut the gasket where the door meets the top of the tub. A small tear lets steam and spray out along the counter edge. We check the whole gasket, replace it if it is cut, and confirm the door presses evenly on the new one.

FAQ
Cove in Los Altos Hills questions, answered.
-
Our Page Mill corridor rebuild has two Coves at the prep sink. Why does one fill with gray water when the other drains?
The drain hoses probably share a line without enough of a high loop, so water from one machine takes the easy path into the other. We reroute and secure both loops, check the connection point, and run the two drains together to confirm it has stopped. -
The Cove in our Adobe Creek guest unit has acted up since a leak last month. Could the leak have damaged it?
It could. Water that reaches the wiring or the control can cause faults later, even after the leak is fixed. We dry the machine and test the control and the door switch. If a part was damaged, it goes in the written quote with the leak repair. -
Our house near the Westwind Barn area sits at the end of a long private driveway. What should we tell you before the visit?
Tell us about any gate, whether it has a code or a call box, and where our technician should park. If the Cove is in a guest house or pool house, say which one, so the visit starts at the right door.
